FAQs
Clear answers to common questions — without the jargon.
If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’re always happy to help.
Ordering & prescriptions
Do I need to understand my prescription to order?
No. You can enter your prescription yourself, or upload a photo or scan and let us handle the details for you.
If anything needs checking, we’ll review it before your lenses are made.
Can I upload my prescription instead of entering it?
Yes. You can upload your prescription during checkout and we’ll take care of entering and reviewing it for accuracy.
What if my prescription looks different from the fields on your form?
Prescriptions aren’t always laid out the same way. That’s normal.
If something looks unfamiliar, you can upload it and we’ll review it for you.
What if I don’t know my PD (pupillary distance)?
If your PD isn’t listed, it can usually be measured at home or by a local optician.
If you’re unsure, we can advise on the best next step before your lenses are made.
Lenses & frames
What types of lenses do you offer?
We offer single vision and multifocal lenses, along with carefully chosen options that support clarity and everyday comfort.
Our Lens Guide explains the options in plain language if you’d like more detail.
Are thinner lenses always better?
Not always. Thinner lenses can feel lighter and look more balanced in some frames, but the best option depends on your prescription and frame choice.
We focus on proportion and comfort rather than upselling.
Will my glasses feel heavy?
Your glasses should feel balanced and comfortable for everyday wear.
Frame choice, lens type, and prescription all play a role — which is why every order is reviewed before production.
Delivery & timing
How long does delivery take?
Because glasses are made to order, most orders arrive within 3-5 business days after processing.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details where available.
Returns & issues
What if something doesn’t feel right when my glasses arrive?
If your glasses don’t feel right, please get in touch before returning them.
We’ll help you understand whether what you’re experiencing is normal, or whether a local adjustment or further review is needed.
Can I return prescription glasses?
Prescription glasses are custom-made, so return eligibility depends on the nature of the issue.
If a problem is confirmed as eligible, we’ll arrange a free return or replacement, depending on what’s most appropriate.
Do you offer refunds?
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method. We’ll explain timelines clearly at the time.
After your glasses arrive
Is it normal to need time to adjust?
A short adjustment period can be normal with new glasses.
Ongoing discomfort usually means something needs attention — not that you should push through it.
Our After Care Guide explains what’s normal and when to get in touch.
Can you adjust my frames for me?
We can’t make physical adjustments remotely, but we’re happy to talk things through.
If needed, we can advise whether a local optician visit may help and what to look out for.
Still need help?
If you’re unsure about anything — before or after ordering — we’re here to help.
You don’t need to guess, and you won’t be left on your own.
Optician-led always
